A note about PRIDE from our founder.
As the founder of Leland Francis and a proud gay minority, I am committed to supporting the LGBTQ+ community every day of the year, not just during Pride Month. Our logo's transformation from black typeface to the rainbow is a reflection of our brand's core values, not just a performative measure.
Pride is a powerful reminder of the strength, resilience, and beauty within the LGBTQ+ community. It's a time to celebrate our identities, honor our history, and strive for a more inclusive and equal future. At Leland Francis, these values are deeply woven into our brand's fabric.
Our commitment to creating vegan, cruelty-free, and sustainably packaged products, along with our dedication to giving back, reflects the diversity and inclusivity that Pride stands for. Every June, a portion of our sales supports LGBTQ+ organizations like SAGE USA, the LA LGBTQ+ Center, The Ali Forney Center, and GLAAD. Additionally, our candles are produced in a facility that supports recovering addicts, aligning with our mission of empowerment and community support.
Pride holds personal significance for me as it represents the love and acceptance everyone deserves. As a makeup artist, I've seen the transformative power of self-expression and confidence. Through Leland Francis, I aim to provide products that make everyone feel seen, valued, and celebrated.
Join us in celebrating Pride and supporting the LGBTQ+ community this month and beyond. Together, we can make a difference and create a world where everyone can shine.
xx,
Dillon
