Eleven years of ups and downs.

I never set out to start a business. I set out to make something I needed for my makeup kit and for myself.
I have made a lot of costly mistakes. I have also had some real wins. Some days I question my sanity and think about throwing in the towel. Being a self funded founder is not for the faint of heart.
I still hand mix, pour, label, batch code and box every single perfume that leaves the lab. Maybe that is me being a control freak. Maybe it is pride. Probably both.
I also know how every part of this business runs. Skincare and candle manufacturing. Perfumers. The warehouse pick and pack. There is no piece of it I have handed off and stopped understanding.
I have never chased a trend. In 2017 I wanted a candle scented entirely with naturals and I was told it could not be done. When I started developing the parfums and I was told the same thing. Both exist now.
I was a self taught makeup artist before I got to learn from masters. Now I am a self taught CEO, still learning, still adapting.
Makeup artist. CEO. Full time maker. Most weeks all three in the same day.
Eleven years ago this was an idea. I cannot quite believe it turned into this.
